Doctor Phillips

The Dr. Phillips area, located in southwest Orange County, was the first master-planned community in central Florida and consists of 18-square miles. The Dr. Phillips name has been a major economic and philanthropic presence in the Central Florida community since the turn of the 20th century. Dr. Phillips Charities honors the legacy of the Phillips family and its support of organizations. Examples of the investment by Dr. Phillips Charities in the community are the Dr. Phillips Fire Station, the Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, the Dr. P. Phillips YMCA Family Center, the Dr. Phillips Little League, the Dr. P. Phillips Community Park, and the Southwest Library.

The community's commercial area, also known as "Restaurant Row", is located along Sand Lake Road at the intersection with Dr. Phillips Boulevard and includes shops, restaurants, professional offices, and higher-density single-family housing. It is located very close to the International Drive Entertainment District.
