Delaney Park | Orlando

Discover the Community

Delaney Park is barely more than one-quarter square mile and with just more than 1,000 residents they all have a strong passion for living there. The fabric of the close-knit neighborhood is woven together by homeowners in their 40s and 50s with families along with a good mix of singles and retirees. School is a big deal in Delaney Park and gives a certain feel to the community.

Many of the homes were built in the 1930s and 1940s. There are bungalows and homes with expansions and reconstructions to accommodate growing families. A few of the streets are brick-lined and very narrow with ample sidewalks that encourage jogging and walking. One of the jewels of the neighborhood is the Delaney Park Little League baseball field which is where families congregate for sports activities with their kids.

With the emergence of SODO (South Downtown) upscale residential offerings, restaurants, and office space are breathing new life into the area. The residents are watching the changes but are not concerned. They feel the redevelopment will just enhance what they have.

Delaney Park has close proximity to Orlando Regional Medical Center, Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Children, and Orlando’s Amtrak Station.
